The past two times my family has gotten together, some old board games have made their way to the coffee table. The last time we all faced off it was a very spirited game of Monopoly and on Thanksgiving we decided to try our hand at Candyland. My nieces, Maria (pictured) and Sophia are masters of the rules of seemingly every game imaginable; which always yields some entertaining commentary on the intricacies of gameplay. It’s a good reminder that no matter how much technology advances, there are some classics out there waiting to be played… and subsequently foster more conversation then a TV screen.
